Induction for New Staff of the University of Nigeria
The University
Administration is organizing a three-day induction programme for all staff employed
in the University from 2006 to the current year. The exercise will take place simultaneously
in the three Campuses of the University; namely Nsukka, Enugu and Ituku-Ozalla Campuses,
between March 21 – 23, 2017 and March, 28 -30, 2017 for Academic Staff and
Administrative Staff of the University employed within the above mentioned
period respectively. In order words, the programme holds for academic staff
from 21 – 23 March 2017 and for non-academic staff from 28 – 30 March, 2017.
However, all affected staff of the University Medical Centres at Nsukka and
Enugu Campuses will hold their technical sessions at Nsukka. Consequently,
Deans of Faculty/School, Directors of Institute/Centre and Heads of
Department/Unit are to duly inform their concerned staff about this training
programme and direct them to attend. Please note that by a copy of this letter,
the Principal Assistant Registrar (Personnel Services) is hereby instructed to
issue appropriate queries to all staff that may illegally absent themselves from
the induction programme. It should be noted that only the Deputy Vice-Chancellor
(Administration) is authorized to approve any request for absenteeism.
